Hey guys. It’s been a while since I posted something. I guess work and studying is still my priority and I don’t have much time for fly fishing. But let’s hope that will change soon as I will probably graduate this year. But enough about that.
Here’s something I’m into lately. Collecting knives! Yeah! Continue reading Custom Wenger Swiss Army Knife
I just realised that almost every fly in my “big fly box” looks like Popovic’s FLEX Fleye. It’s a small baitfish pattern and I’m pretty sure pike, zander, perch and any other saltwater fish wouldn’t resist it. I love how simple but effective this fly is. Continue reading Popovic’s FLEX Fleye
It’s been a while since I posted something on my blog. Well I guess it’s because of winter depression and all. But I promise I’ll post some flies, if nothing else, more often now. Pike fishing season starts on 1st of April here so until then I will post some flies and maybe fish for some trout and chub.

Wow. Just wow. Joca Lake is something you just have to visit and have a great weekend just as I did. It’s located near Zrenjanin, a small town in Serbia and about 80 km. from Belgarde. A group of us 4 stayed there for 3 days and we had great time fly fishing for pike there. Continue reading Pike Fly Fishing at Lake Joca
It has been a while since I posted anything here. I’ve been pretty busy and kinda got bored of all the trouts and chubs so that might be the reason. 🙂 I can’t wait for a bit colder weather to fish for some pike but until then… Continue reading Carp on the fly
Hey guys! It’s been a while since I posted something. I do have an excuse. Had a surgery few days ago and I’m still recovering. Don’t worry it was a routine surgery but recovery period is a bit boring. Stitches below my right arm don’t allow me to go fly fishing. I can’t even practise fly casting. FUBAR! 🙂 Anyways… I’m not missing much. Pike has alot of baitfish food right now so it’s nearly impossible to catch any. Continue reading Wooden Fly Box
Wobble fly was created by Martie van den Brand and it’s definitely going to find it’s place in my fly box. Fishing with wobblers can sometimes be much more effective than fishing with streamer flies. But why would you use a spinning rod since you can cast flies with wobbling movement? The wobbling movement of your fly can sometimes really make a difference. Continue reading Wobble Fly
All the ponds and lakes are still kinda messed up so all I can do is prepare for some better days. Continue reading Ostrich and Arctic Fox Pike Fly
Finally some FFF casting instructors in Serbia! Oliver Kuzmanovic, Djordje Andjelkovic and Igor Stankovic passed the exam last weekend and became certified casting instructors of Federation of Fly Fishers.
I wish you all the best with your new titles my friends! And I honestly hope you wont become too conceited CI’s. 🙂 We need some good people to learn from. Continue reading First FFF CI’s in Serbia
I came to this idea by inverting the popper foam. It’s made with weed guards so it will be perfect for ponds in spring. I used craft fur only for this one and even though it’s 18cm. long I hope there wont be any problem delivering the fly. Continue reading Pike Slider
