It was a great day yesterday but it seems it’s still early for big pike to wake up. Waters are still muddy and water level is still effected by melting snow and rain. All I can do is prepare for better days and tie some bigger flies. This one is inspired by Simon Graham Pike Fly Fishing Articles Blog and it looks much like his Fly Candy flies. For this one I used white ostrich feathers and some pink polar fox fur. For more efficiency of this fly I used my new weed protector. More about it in some further blog posts.

this one are really candy streamer! under the water it will have a really nice action. twitch it and it will pulsate making pikes crazy. same effect as spinner-bites
If pike is on the bottom (app. 8,5 fee deept) and u twitch it barely 3 feet under surface they must come in and grab that candy!
I’m glad you like it! Haven’t tested it just yet!
