It has been a while since I posted anything here. I’ve been pretty busy and kinda got bored of all the trouts and chubs so that might be the reason. I can’t wait for a bit colder weather to fish for some pike but until then…
Alot of people don’t like and don’t approve fishing on commercial waters (it’s not hardcore enough) but there is no another way to catch some carp around here. After two unsuccessful fishing trips I didn’t manage to catch any. The reason for that is probably I brought ultra light fly fishing equipment (#3) but yesterday I had my #7 rod with WF line. It was a whole different story fly fishing with that kind of an equipment I guess because I’m not that good fly caster.
Beside black leech streamers and glo bugs if you fish on a commercial water I would suggest bringing some bread flies as well.
Sorry for picture quality on the second one but I had any my cell phone camera around and I wanted to release this beautiful creature ASAP!

What is that bread fly made out of? Thanks
Hello Loften,
In this case I used Polypropylene fibers from a bag handle. If you comb them you can get a pretty useful material. But you can actually use any synthetic fibers to tye a fly like this.
Here’s an article about “super fine fibers”:

There’s a numerous ways to tye a bread fly. Some people use policelon foams, dear hair or just a hard trimmed hackle.
I hope that helped!
