Last year I’ve been fishing pike with single-hook streamers only. I just couldn’t set the hook every time the pike strikes. First I thought the problem was in my rod. But with some closer observation I noticed that pike would sometimes just grab a tail of my fly or just miss it when strikes. The recipe is pretty simple. Just connect two hooks using toothy critter and apply some rabbit strips. :)

I think this fly will increase my chance of setting the hook… The only problem is - the more hooks you have on your fly, the tougher to get it pass the weed.
