Wow. Just wow. Joca Lake is something you just have to visit and have a great weekend just as I did. It’s located near Zrenjanin, a small town in Serbia and about 80 km. from Belgarde. A group of us 4 stayed there for 3 days and we had great time fly fishing for pike there.

It has been a while since I posted anything here. I’ve been pretty busy and kinda got bored of all the trouts and chubs so that might be the reason. I can’t wait for a bit colder weather to fish for some pike but until then…

The tournament has officially been moved to new location due to weather conditions. New locations is Eumer fishing center, Merikarvia.

Yesterday I had a trip to Bovan lake near Aleksinac. This was actually totally unexpected. I was fishing for pike… I even had a wire leader but I guess this little zander couldn’t resist my Ostrich and Craft Fur Pike Streamer. I know it’s not that big but it’s my first Zander ever caught on fly!

…in April… was a bad idea! A few of my friends and I decided to visit Greece this year. We started making plans about it during the last year and we knew everything about the location where we were going to fish. But we didn’t know fishing was forbidden on all rivers and lakes in Greece from 15th of April until 15th of May!

I really wanted to make some special post since it’s my first one on this blog but I really didn’t know what to write about. I know that first post is terribly important, because it sets the tone for the blog, not just for the readers, but for the writers as well. Ok here we go…
